Our client is a manufacturing company founded by a family of entrepreneurs who share more than 40 years of experience in the design and manufacturing of building materials and products. They launched a line of digitally printed architectural products, using a technology never seen before in the industry.

 

The result is a revolutionary, ground-breaking aluminum architectural product, offered in a large choice of real wood textures and colors.

 

Growing rapidly in North America, our client is looking for a Director of Sales to oversee their team of manufacturing agents in the United States. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the solutions to achieve business objectives

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain product and brand awareness with Architects, Spec-Writers and General Contractors;
  • Responsible for driving and increasing sales in accordance with the established objectives;
  • Develop and implement growth and marketing strategies with the management team;
  • Establish, with the management team, sales forecasts as well as the operational plan of the sales department and ensure its execution;
  • Motivate, manage and lead a team of manufacturing agents across the country;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training on sales skills, technical tools, product and market;
  • Participate in the process of recruiting and integrating new members of the sales team;
  • Meet and support manufacturing agents review the objectives and key performance indicators assigned to them;
  • Evaluate the results and make changes in the business development strategy if necessary;
  • Negotiate and maintain close relationships with clients;

 

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other equivalent diploma;
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in sales and business development in the manufacturing industry;
  • Good knowledge of the specification industry;
  • Experience in managing a team of representatives or manufacturing agents;
  • Ability to move from strategic to concrete actions in the field;
  • Leadership, skills in planning, organization, coaching and mobilization.
